About Solid Gold Wrestling -
Solid Gold Wrestling was founded in August of 1999 by Mike Frost and Sam Crust. It has existed on and off in various incarnations since then, more so in the hands of Josh Smith from 2001-onward, leaving a rich and storied history in its wake. Over the years, the best competitors in the world have passed through SGW's halls, emboldening the phrase: "Solid Gold Wrestling, Solid Gold Talent." From 1999-2002, SGW was one of the top feds in this circle, constantly competing with main rival, PWO, for quality and writers. A lot of the top writers in our circles got their first big breaks in SGW and it came by facing the best of the best, proving that iron always sharpens iron in writing talent.
In 2006, SGW returned under the control of Josh Smith, taking pieces of feds that came before such as nEw, LoC, ACW, and SGWx to create an entirely new promotion focused on coherent storylines and detailed feuds. This version of SGW also included the addition of comedic segments and Tom Cruise capturing the SGW World Title, a first for the circle. During this time, the "Taz Memorial Show" easily became the most circulated set of e-fed results ever, still being passed around to people online some 13 years after its publishing date. SGW put several longtime feds out business, unable to compete with SGW's top-tier roster and results.
The current owners of SGW are Josh, Scott, and Drew. They have been at the helm since the revival in 2019 and have proven to be a collective force in the e-fed game. From creativity, graphics, and on-time results, these three turned SGW into a well-oiled machine and always put the interest of the writer first with a variety of gimmick shows from 1980s flashbacks, CAW, and the first all-women's one night tournament. From 2019-2020, SGW came back with a vengeance, and for eight solid months, changed the way e-fedding in this circle was done. No longer were fed admins able to get by doing the minimum, and those that did quickly fell to the wayside. SGW mixed serious feuds, outlandish stories, and honored the past that came before at the same time. They were blessed with a roster bursting at the seams with talent and always ready to join in for the cause at the drop of a hat.
The goal of the 2022 SGW revival is to bring back the uber-competitive spirit of days gone by with a new, fresh roster of characters. Championship lineage and feud histories will be acknowledged, but the stories and feuds will be more set in reality and back to basics. Tucor will not appear in this incarnation, but anyone active within the last two years are available. This incarnation of Solid Gold will run monthly shows. Each monthly show will be treated like its own special event, unlike a weekly television show, allowing SGW to present the most competitive matches on a regular basis with no filler required. Think of it as the e-fed version of Ring of Honor, Evolve, or Progress Wrestling where it's self-contained "chapters" of a story. Each show will have a one roleplay limit to encourage quality over quantity. This limit also applies to tag team matches with four handlers and matches where it's two-versus-one. You will not be penalized for the disadvantage of your partner no-showing or facing more than one person, as overall quality will be judged and not the quantity posted.

We do offer the ability to negotiate with your opponent and if you two can agree upon it, setting a new limit for matches based on an case-by-case basis. We don't recommend it happening often, but sometimes it's negotiable and will be approved.
Secondary Character and Add/Drop Guidelines -
Your second character (if applicable) must be in a DIFFERENT division than your primary character. For example, if you join as a singles male, your second application MUST be for a tag team, singles female, or female tag team. It allows for some more diverse booking opportunities and it eases the idea of one handler holding multiple titles. It's a little easier to justify one handler holding a singles belt and a tag belt over one person holding the world and the IC titles being in different divisions with the smaller roster count.
BOTH your current and additional character(s) must be active within the last two years. We will be very strict on the acceptance of characters. Besides being active, they must be physically able to compete and not suffer from any serious injury that would prevent them from physicality.
Getting Involved -
With the new monthly schedule, everyone on the roster is getting booked regularly unless you reach out to one of the Admin beforehand. It keeps plans intact without having confusion. If you're on the roster, you're on the show.
We're available for communication. If you cannot get booked or need time off, just let us know. We're reasonable human beings and understand that life gets busy. You can DM Josh, Drew, or Scott on the forum or reach out to us for our Discord tags. The fed itself is choosing not to create a Discord Server for this new venture to prevent member drama, but feel free to be active on the OOC.
